Spiral X Core

At the core of the Ocea Jigger Infinity Motive is its highly advanced rod blank, utilizing Shimano's proprietary Spiral X Core Technology to overcome blank twist and increase rod strength, all while cutting weight for enhanced performance. Spiral X Core consists of three carbon layers to achieve its result, with an innermost carbon layer spiraling around the blank in a diagonal direction, middle layer consisting of vertical fibers, and an outermost layer of carbon tape spiraling the opposite direction of its first layer. Nano resin is evenly distributed to adhere these three layers, resulting in a stronger, lighter rod. Compared to Shimano's Spiral X rods, torsional rigidity is increased by 10% and compressional rigidity is boosted by 15%.
