They also increased the line capacity of the reel without increasing the physical size, which means you can fish for bigger fish with the LX G2! These reels feature an upgraded ratcheting glide plate lever drag system that gives you a much better fishing experience than the one on the original series. It gives you more control over your drag when you've hooked into a big fish. The LX G2 is constructed of aircraft aluminum, making them lightweight and corrosion resistant. They feature eight sealed stainless steel ball bearings and a double dog anti-reverse system to minimize back play.
