The Van Staal VS Series reels have set the standard for durability and reliability for over 30 years. Building on that legacy, the VS X2 Series combines the simplicity and functionality Van Staal is known for with upgraded materials and features designed for the No Limitations angler.
The X2 retains all the hallmarks of the VS Series while introducing key improvements from top to bottom. New sizing options make it versatile for everything from back bays to offshore tuna grounds. Its unibody design enhances strength and sealing, while the longer handle, power knob, and drag knob deliver increased cranking power and drag pressure. The oversized clutch has been relocated to the pinion side, providing immediate hook sets. Smaller and faster reels now allow inshore anglers to enjoy the full benefits of the VS X2.
