It has a "J" hook that holds your fishing rod, a place to store your fishing lead and removeable 3.5" mini plastic bowl that is replaceable at most major grocery stores. No extra drilling as it securely mounts behind your current rod holder base. Made of marine grade materials. Units are offered in right and left side.
