Starting with its solid aluminum MQ body that houses Daiwa’s Tough Digigear, these components work together to give anglers more power and easier winding during the fight. Daiwa’s renowned MAGSEALED technology seals the main shaft and line roller from saltwater intrusion into the reel body, preventing premature wear and corrosion.
AIRDRIVE DESIGN is fully integrated to lighten the overall weight while enhancing balance, sensitivity, and cranking power. The AIRDRIVE SHAFT reduces friction of the oscillation mechanism during fights making it easier to crank the handle while fighting fish. The light but strong AIRDRIVE SPOOL provides a more accurate drag response and features a lifted edge along the skirt of spool to prevent line wrapping underneath. Certate HD LT sports an aluminum AIRDRIVE ROTOR for enhanced strength while maintaining even rotational balance – removing excess vibration that could dull the rods sensitivity.
