Description
The Abu Garcia Ambassadeur Catfish Pro Round Casting Reel gives catfish anglers a powerful 6500-size round reel for soaking cut bait, live bait, and heavy rigs along river holes, current seams, ledges, dams, and reservoir flats. Its stainless steel 4 ball bearings plus 1 roller bearing provide smooth performance, while the 5.3:1 gear ratio offers steady retrieve control for big blues, flatheads, channel cats, and other hard-pulling fish. The Carbon Matrix drag system delivers consistent pressure during long runs, and the 6-pin centrifugal braking system helps manage casts with heavier sinkers and bait rigs. A synchronized level wind system improves line lay and castability, while the one-piece reel foot and extended bent handle with power knobs add strength, grip, and leverage when a big fish loads the rod.
