The MBR series of 6' 6 & 7' bass casting rods were originally developed for increased casting distance and deeper water applications. The term MAG came from their magnum tapers that generate a lot of power and provide excellent fish-fighting capability. Longer rear-cork grips help provide leverage and balance. They are excellent for pitching or casting and are unbelievably strong for such light weight rods. These rods were originally available only in our Classic Bass Rods but thanks to angler demand GLX and E6X If you're a G.Loomis angler already then you probably know how good these rods are. If you're new to the classic G.Loomis bass rods you'll be amazed at their versatility!
